By using Automaton's services, submitting our intake survey, or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Automaton builds custom websites for local trade businesses. Our standard offering includes:
Websites are custom-designed based on the information you provide in our intake survey. We reserve the right to modify our service offerings at any time.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You review your preview site first; the $299 setup fee is only charged after you approve the preview and elect to go live. The $29 monthly hosting fee begins after your site goes live and is billed automatically each month.
Once you approve the preview and are charged, the setup fee becomes non-refundable. Monthly billing continues until you cancel your subscription.
Before launch, revisions to text, images, colors, and layout are included at no additional cost until you're happy with the preview. You only approve and pay when the site is ready.
After launch, all edits are included in your $29/month plan — request changes anytime by email or text. Major structural redesigns (e.g. changing the whole page layout from scratch) may be quoted separately.
To deliver your website on time, we need your cooperation. You agree to:
Delays in providing information may delay your website delivery beyond the 24-hour window.
You retain full ownership of the content you provide to us, including your business name, logo, images, and written copy.
Automaton retains ownership of its proprietary code, design system, templates, and development tools. Your website is built using our platform, and the underlying code remains our intellectual property.
We take your privacy seriously. All personal and business data is encrypted and stored securely. We never sell your information to third parties. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.
Automaton provides websites on an "as-is" basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, or business interruption.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Automaton in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We strive for maximum uptime, but occasional maintenance or unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary interruptions. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of planned maintenance and to resolve unplanned outages promptly.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your monthly subscription by contacting us at support@automaton-app.com.
Upon cancellation, your website will go offline at the end of your current billing period. The one-time setup fee is not refundable upon termination.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
